Our waste management is undertaken via Ash Waste Services. Over 98.5% of waste from Edina is recycled or reused. From 4 April 2024 the Welsh Government have made waste sorting a legal requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please rinse out any food containers, and place plastics, paper, cardboard, cans, glass bottles and jars in the relevant recycling bin found under the stairs. When full the box should be emptied into the correct colour coded smaller wheelie bin in the front garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Food waste can go direct into the kitchen bin along with any other items that cannot be recycled. When full please tie the black bag and place in the larger wheelie bin in the front garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spare black bin bags will be found under the sink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bins are collected on different days and the collectors should come into the front garden to collect and return the bins. Please do not obstruct the gate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dog waste cannot be placed in the waste bin. Please clear up after your dog. Dog waste should be collected and may placed temporarily in the small grey bin in the back garden. Before leaving please transfer the contents to one of the red public dog waste bins – the nearest is above the communal car park. There is a \u00a325 additional cleaning fee payable if pet waste is left for our housekeeping team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
